The Atlanta Police Department is handling an unruly passenger who made a verbal bomb threat on Frontier Airlines Flight 2539 just after landing from Columbus, Ohio, at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Sunday afternoon around 5 p.m.
The authorities immediately took the plane to a remote area, away from the terminal, and took all the passengers on a bus to safety, clearing the plane, which was determined to have no bomb, making the threat not credible.
The incident was confirmed by Frontier Airlines, stating that all protocols were followed to ensure the safety of everyone involved, but the unruly passenger’s identity and possible charges are unknown.

A spokesperson of Frontier Airlines stated that the passenger made the verbal bomb threat when the Airbus A320 aircraft was taxiing towards the gate after landing from John Glenn Columbus International Airport.
The law authorities received the aircraft immediately and isolated it in order to conduct a thorough search without disrupting the operations of the airport, which is the busiest in the world.

The passengers were safely disembarked from the plane, and they traveled back to the terminal on buses. However, there were some delays but no reported harm.
The Atlanta Police termed the person an "unruly passenger." They eliminated any fears of hijacking.
