JEECUP Round 2 Counselling Schedule 2026
Candidates will be able to freeze/float their seat allotment status between July 11, 2026 and July 13, 2026. During the same period, they must pay the security and counselling fee through their login window. Those who selected the freeze option will be required to verify their documents at district help centres between July 11 and July 14 ( 6 pm). The seat withdrawal process will take place on July 15, 2026.
Candidates satisfied with their result must select the freeze option and those who want to keep the seat as a backup and want to participate in the next round of the counselling process must select the float option.

What After JEECUP Round 2 Counselling Result 2026?
After JEECUP round 2 counselling result declaration, candidates have to choose the freeze or float option, pay the seat acceptace fee and complete document verification. Candidates can follow the process mentioned below:
- Download Allotment Letter: Candidates can download their seat allotment letter from the JEECUP website. They can login to the JEECUP admission portal using their roll number and password.
- Choosing Freeze or Float: Candidates have to choose either the freeze or float option online.
- Pay Seat Acceptance Fee: Candidates have to pay the seat acceptance fee if they choose to lock their choice.
- Document Verification: If the candidates chooses to freeze their seat, they have to get their documents verified at the nearest District Help Centre. Candidates have to carry their original marksheets, category certificates, domicile certificate and allotment letter. Also bring printouts of the documents.

If the students want to go on with the option, they can freeze the option and lock their choice. Difference Between Round 1 & Round 2 Counselling
Basically, the JEECUP Round 1 is open to all the candidates who have secured a rank after the JEECUP results 2026. The Round 2 counselling is for candidates who have not fixed their seat or have opted for float option. Candidates can fill their choice during the first round of counselling. Round 2 is open to unallotted candidates. Only vacant seats will be available for Round 2 JEECUP counselling.
