The venues for the ICC Women’s Champions Trophy 2027 are decided to play in two Indian cities, which are:

1. Mumbai

The first venue is Mumbai, and the matches will be played at the Cricket Club of India (CCI), which is popularly known as Brabourne Stadium.

2. Vadodara

The second venue is the Vadodara International Cricket Stadium in Vadodara, Gujarat.

The venue has also hosted Women’s Premier League matches in recent years.

The format of the Women’s Champions Trophy 2027 is T20I, which means every match of the tournament will be a T20 international match.

India to Host the First Women’s Champions Trophy

India was not originally supposed to host the tournament.

The event was first planned for Sri Lanka. Later, the ICC decided to move the tournament to India.

The ICC considered Bangladesh, India and South Africa as possible replacement hosts. India was finally selected, and the ICC Board approved the decision on September 1, 2026.

Sri Lanka will still play in the tournament because the team qualified based on the T20I rankings cut-off.
