Changes in WBSSC SLST Recruitment Rules
As per the short notice released earlier, the WBSSC has given the opportunities to upload the documents in caste categories. The short notice further states that despite several previous opportunities, a number of candidates have not yet updated their caste categories in their application forms.A last opportunity is being given from 22.09.2025 to 26.09.2025 to update this information.
To update, candidates must Login, choose the 'Edit' option, select the category from the drop-down menu, and specify their sub-category, applicable certificate number, and issuing authority (if applicable) in separate text boxes. The notice further says that candidates who fail to update their category by 26.09.2025 will have their category treated as "General".
