The Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Recruitment Examination 2026 has brought the state’s highly qualified students to appear for the UP Police Constable Exam 2026. As the huge three-day exam concluded across the 75 districts, the data has revealed that a huge number of candidates, that is, 28.86 lakh candidates, registered for the exam to compete for only 32.679 constable and equivalent vacancies.

UP Police Constable Exam 2026: Security Measures Taken And Travel Arrangement
As the NEET 2026 paper leak has been the centre of the national debates surrounding the competitive exam integrity, the Commission took various security measures to prevent any malpractice and paper leak situations. The state government also places strict multi-layer security protocols, including the following:-
- There was continuous CCTIV surveillance inside the testing rooms.
- Mandatory metal detector checkpoints at all exam entry gates.
- Enhanced administrative oversight at vulnerable centres.
To help the candidates travelling from distant places or districts to their allotted exam centre and city, the state has implemented a 50 per cent discount on government-run buses for the duration of the exam. The facility was available only to those candidates who showed their admit card to the officials. Despite the travel arrangements made by the governments, the Lucknow Charbagh railway station witnessed huge crowds, with students camping out on the platforms to make sure they arrived on time.
