Rajasthan JE Recruitment 2026: The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) is set to close the online application process for JE Recruitment 2026 today September 14, 2026. Through this recruitment a total of 874 Junior Engineer vacancies would be filled across various divisions like Public Works Department (PWD), Water Resources Department and Public Health Engineering Department (PHED). Those who have completed graduation in the engineering background and are diploma holders can submit their applications online through the Rajasthan SSO portal. The online application process was started from August 16, 2026.

The Selection process for the RSSB Junior Engineer recruitment consists of written examination, document verification and at last medical examination. The final merit list would then be prepared taking into account the performance of candidates in their respective stages.

Rajasthan JE Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must ensure they meet the prescribed eligibility criteria for the JE posts at the time of filing the online application form. Forms will not be accepted if you do not meet the required standards. Check the detailed criteria below.

1 Educational Qualification- 

• For the Civil JE posts candidates must have a degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.

• For PHED Mechanical or Electrical JE posts diploma qualification is also required.

2 Age Limit (As on January 1, 2027)

• The Minimum age to apply is 18 years.

• The Maximum age to apply is 40 years.

• Age relaxation would be provided to reserved categories as per norms and regulations of Rajasthan government.
