France 2–1 Iceland

France secured a 2–1 victory over Iceland and kept their 100% record in Group D. Even though the French made a mistake early to allow Iceland to score first, they reacted positively and with confidence.

Kylian Mbappé converted a penalty kick before halftime and got an assist on Bradley Barcola's winning goal in the second half. France eventually played the last portion of the game with ten players on the field, but they defended strongly as a unit.

England 5–0 Serbia

England produced a professional performance in Belgrade with a stunning 5–0 victory over Serbia. Captain Harry Kane was the first on the scoresheet, before Noni Madueke, Ezri Konsa, Marc Guehi, and Marcus Rashford added to the tally.

Armenia 2-1 Republic of Ireland

Armenia surprised the Republic of Ireland with a 2-1 victory in Yerevan that severely dented the visitors' chances of qualification. Eduard Spertsyan and Grant-Leon Ranos scored for Armenia, while Evan Ferguson scored for Ireland.

CONMEBOL (South America)

Bolivia 1-0 Brazil

A shocking upset sent Bolivia to the intercontinental playoff after a 1–0 victory over a stunned Brazil in La Paz. Miguel Terceros provided the finishing touch when he calmly converted a penalty in the dying seconds of stoppage time.

Brazil hadn't been performing well lately, but it should have still been too good to lose to Bolivia, who had virtually no serious threats despite being significantly outpossessed.
