Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) has issued Assistant Lineman (ALM) Recruitment Notification to fill up a total 6,289 vacancies in the state of Punjab. The notification was issued on June 8 by advertisement numbers CRA 317/2026 and CRA 318/2026. This recruitment drive aims to fill assistant lineman posts to strengthen and support power supply operations throughout Punjab. Of the total vacancies 3289 posts are listed under CRA 317/2026 while the remaining 3000 posts come under CRA 318/2026.
Selected candidates will receive a starting basic pay of Rs 19,990 per month, as per PSPCL Financial Circular No. 21/2022. The probation period for appointed candidates will be three years.

PSPCL ALM Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the recruitment, candidates must have passed Matriculation (or an equivalent qualification) along with an ITI certificate in Electrician or Wireman trade from NCVT or SCVT. It is also mandatory to have studied Punjabi as a subject at the Matriculation level.The age of applicants should be between 18 and 37 years as of January 1, 2026. However, candidates belonging to reserved categories will be eligible for age relaxation as per government norms.
PSPCL ALM Recruitment 2026 Application Fees
The application fee for candidates belonging to the General, Backward Class, and other categories is ₹1,416 (including GST). For Scheduled Caste and Persons with Disabilities candidates, the fee is ₹885 (including GST).
