HP SET 2026: The HPPSC has invited applications from the eligible candidates for the State Eligibility Test (SET). HP SET is a state-level eligibility test that assesses candidate suitability for the posts of Assistant Professor(s) in Universities and Colleges located within the State of Himachal Pradesh. The test will be conducted for 22 subjects. Aspirants must ensure they fulfill the eligibility requirements and complete the application process before the deadline at hppsc.hp.gov.in.

HP SET (Himachal Pradesh State Eligibility Test) is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for recruitment as Assistant Professors in the state. The candidates can submit their applications only through online mode. The candidates who will qualify the SET exam will be awarded the SET Certificate which makes them eligible to teach at Himachal Pradesh universities and colleges.

How to Apply for HPPSC SET 2026

Those who consider themselves eligible for the HPPSC SET 2026 can apply by following the steps given below:

• Go to the official HPPSC website: hppsc.hp.gov.in.

• Click on Apply Online button on the homepage.

• Now click on the One Time Registration (OTR) for Examinations link. You will be redirected to the registration page.

• New Applicants can click on New Registration. Enter details such as:

2. Mobile Number

3. Security Question

4. Security Answer

5. Set Password

6. Enter Security Key

• Click on Register button.

• Once registered, login to your account by entering User ID and Password.

• All advertisements (you are eligible for) will be listed to you.

• Select the HP SET 2026 and fill all the details that are required.

• Enter academic qualifications including Master’s subject and marks.

• Choose the SET subject you wish to appear for from the list.

• Upload scanned photograph and signature

• Pay the application fee through the online payment gateway. Submit your form.

• Download the application form for future reference.
