UPSC CDS 2 Registration Closing Today: Today is the last day to apply online for UPSC CDS 2 2026 till 6:00 PM, June 9, 2026. The UPSC has notified CDS 2 2026 recruitment on its official website upsconline.nic.in for recruiting candidates into the Indian Armed Forces. Total 451 vacancies have been notified under Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy (AFA), and Officers Training Academy (OTA).  The examination will take place on September 13, 2026. CDS 2 Recruitment 2026: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should fulfil all the eligibility criteria mentioned below before applying for UPSC CDS 2 2026. Please check the criteria carefully to not be disqualified at the time of the selection process:

1. Nationality

• The candidate should be an Indian national.

2. Educational Qualifications

• For Indian Military Academy: Must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised University

• For Indian Naval Academy: Must hold an engineering degree in any stream from a recognised University.

• For Air Force Academy: Degree with Physics and Mathematics at the 10+2 level or a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) degree   

3. Age Limit

Age limit varies post-wise: 

• For Indian Military Academy: 19 to 24 years

• For Indian Naval Academy: 19 to 24 years

• For Air Force Academy: 20 to 24 years

• OTA (Men - SSC): 19 to 25 years

• OTA (Women - SSC): 19 to 25 years

4. Gender

• Only male applicants are eligible to apply for IMA, INA, AFA.
• Female candidates are eligible for CDS, but only for OTA (Officer Training Academy)

5. Marital Status

• Candidates who are applying for IMA, INA and AFA must be unmarried.
• OTA (SSC Women) candidates also be unmarried.

6. Physical Criteria

• The candidate must fulfil the physical criteria as stated in the official notification.
